Warrior Code

I live by the Spartan warrior sword and the Samurai code of death, more or less. Alexander the Great once said, "I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion." With that being said, where are all the great leaders around the world, but for a few exceptions they don't exist anymore. Why? Simple, most of today's leaders and rulers are not aware or are indifferent about what's really happening on the ground level and those who do know have no real idea how to fix things because even though their heart may be in the right place they can't relate to folks on the ground. And for those at the bottom trying to make it up the ladder, they swim in deep water because the top is a different world. Basically, there's a disconnect. Here's my kind of leader, someone that has lived like most of us and thus relates to the middle, hears and sees the bottom, and understands and can work with the top, a common lion. The epic Blood Bread and Water book series explores the world's power structure, tells it like it is from the common perspective, and shines a light on those at the bottom. The book series doesn't just highlight and analyze the main problems and issues facing the world but puts forth common-sense real-world solutions to many of them.
